I am a winter baby! A winter baby who has sensitive and dry skin. My skin can become so dry and cracked; that it requires constant TLC. As a skincare enthusiast, proper skincare has been one of my goals for the new year. Every week I incorporate face masks into my skincare routine, which includes a combination of sheet, mud and peel masks. Sheet and peel off masks are my absolute favorite.

I always admire the photos of other bloggers. The way they pose and have the perfect smile, perfect stance, the perfect photo. The more I looked at the photos of others, the more I began to dislike taking photos of my own. I would find every imperfection and slowly began to chisel at my self-confidence.

It is officially January 1st, 2019! I can not believe that 2018 is now a memory. I am writing this post on my way back to New York City. I decided that I wanted to spend New Years in Niagara Falls. Couldn’t remember the length of how it felt between my fingers. I would simply remove the style for quick maintenance and reinstall. The style that I loved so much began to take a toll on my hair. I developed Tension Alopecia. Tension or Traction Alopecia is associated with sustained tension on the scalp hair resulting in localized hair loss. I became embarrassed and ashamed. My confidence began to decline drastically and I hit beneath hats, wigs, and fancy scarves.
