We are almost at the midpoint of 2018! It is astonishing to think about how fast the year has gone by. Apparently, I have lost sight of all the goals that I have set for myself and though I have achieved a few; it is not enough. Back to the drawing board for me. Time to refocus, hustle and create a harmonious balance of all. Tell me. How are you doing with your achievements? If you’re right on schedule…congratulations! Care to share a few pointers? April was a very productive month. My objectives were obtained for the most part. I am still traveling via Uber to work on most days, but I have incorporated a mini walk during lunch which has increased my exercise. It is far from perfect, but an improvement nonetheless. In addition, I have resurrected my Weight Watchers diet. My reading a few chapters a night before bed has proven to be a little difficult. Exhaustion after a long day of reading and analyzing numbers; all I want to do is rest. I am going to try Audible and see how that would work for me. I am excited to announce that the newsletter has been created!
For the month of May, I want to keep a few of my objectives from last month. The reason is that I didn’t achieve them as I originally intended.
- Blog Consistently According to Schedule: My schedule for blog posts are Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I would like Wednesday’s to be exclusively for outfit and style posts.
- Exercise: My mini lunch walks are great. It allows me to move my body. However, I am stepping it up a notch. Swimming once a week will be added to my exercise regimen. I love the water.
- Post on Instagram/ Instastories Daily: This is going to be a challenge for me. To increase my followers and page views means that I need to be seen and heard. I don’t intend to do long Instagram posts, but I would like to do a daily check-in. Even if it is at the end of my day.
- Increase Weekly Pageviews to 500: My blog has grown over the past year, but not enough, I love looking at my analytics and discovering that you are reading my content. Thank you! I have discovered that my most popular post is How to Get Rid of Dark Bra Marks. You can read it here.
- Networking: I classify myself as being an introvert. My goals are to attend at least two blog-related networking events. Keep your fingers crossed.
That rounds up my goals for this month. I have been blocking off time in my calendar for self-care, relaxing and engaging on my content. What are your objectives for this month?
