Hello, Curvy Beauties! Summer is officially over and we are getting close to the end of 2017! On a happier note, it is now my favorite season…Fall. I absolutely love the Fall. The leaves change color and the weather becomes crisp and cold. I am a huge fan of cold weather as I am sure you can tell. Soon we will be breaking out the cashmere sweaters, the thigh high boots, hats and cozy coats. I am here for it! I have seen some of the latest Fall collections of my favorite plus size designers and I am looking forward to a Fashionable Fall Season. This month I am so excited to announce that I will be attending the Curvy Con. This is the first time that I will be attending and I can hardly contain my excitement.
I have great expectations for Curvy Intuition and I am investing in its growth. One way is the purchase of my new Canon camera; which is an absolute necessity to any blog. Clear photos of outfits, flatlays, etc are essential to securing brand collaborations. I am looking forward to using the camera efficiently and will eventually invest in photography classes. I have even taken webinars and to learn how to place product for flatlays. Flatlay creation is truly an art. An art, that I plan to master. Hopefully.
Here are my goals for this month:
- Write post about my Curvy Con experience.
- Batch Blog Posts for the month. (I am listing this goal once again because I didn’t adhere to it last month. No excuse.)
- Read and Review book called: “You’re A Bad Ass!”
- Post one Outfit of the Day Per Week. (Schedule time to shoot on Sunday mornings.)
- Pitch (2) Companies.
- Plan You Tube Channel launch November 2017.
It is very easy to lose sight of your goals, which is why I try to keep my list to a minimum. I use my google calendar to plan time to plan, write and shoot blog posts. Working at home on my blog is not fruitful due to the many distractions of television and the refrigerator. Therefore, I have decided to redesign my current office space to make it more creative-friendly.
I am feeling motivated and I plan on taking this positivity through the remaining days this month. What are your monthly goals? I would love to hear from you. We can support each other. Let me know in the comments below.
