Hey, my loves! It’s August and I am here to share with you ,my beauty and skincare favorites for last month. Some revisions have been made to my daily regimen due to the sweltering heat here in New York. My skin tends to be drier in the summer months. In addition, I also have sensitive skin. (Double whammy!) With that being said, moisturizing is of the utmost importance which is why I apply masks twice a week. I have shared with you before about my quest to improve my skincare regimen. I am proud to say that I have done just that!
June Beauty and Skincare Faves!
I admit that I am a bit of a skincare and make-up junkie! Now that I am in my mid-thirties, I take my skincare more seriously. Trolling the aisles of my favorite local drugstores or Sephora looking at new beauty and makeup trends. I mostly steer towards drugstore brands due to the more reasonable prices (let’s be honest). However, every once in while I do splurge just a bit. I decided to share with you some of my favorite skincare and beauty faves for the month. Since I am keeping it candid, I do get to try a few of the brands via my beauty subscription boxes. I do have a few faves, and I will spill the tea in an upcoming post. :o)
Trending Tuesday: Life Of A Bombshell Cosmetics!
I am new to the blogging community. I started Curvy Intuition in October of 2016. Since my launch, I have learned so much from veteran bloggers and I am proud “blog stalker” (don’t judge me!) When I created my weekly Trending Tuesday Series, its main intention was to showcase brands, products and other items that I generally love and use. I have recently expanded it to feature the entrepreneur endeavors of some of my favorite bloggers. I actually featured make-up bags created by Ty Alexander from Gorgeous In Grey. Secret Beauty Event Featuring Dior Cosmetics!
I love makeup! I love how it transforms and enhances my features (when done correctly). I always marveled at models, fellow bloggers and YouTubers on how they established beautiful and flawless make-up. They say that the best cosmetics are usually the luxury brands like Chanel. I have never tried on a luxurious make-up brand. To be honest, I mostly use Maybelline, Black Radiance, Cover Girl or MAC. That is the extent of the brands I have tried. I am an Eczema sufferer which means I need to be mindful of what I put on my skin.
A fellow blogger, a guru in all things beauty, fashion and style hosted a secret beauty event in the World Trade Center with get this…DIOR Cosmetics! Yes, D.I.O.R! I was elated to attend this event. I was originally waitlisted, but thanks to the beauty Gods above I was able to snag a ticket!

Hello Beauties! I have decided to add something different to my blog. Its called Trending Tuesdays. Trending Tuesdays will feature….you guessed it; what is trending now! LOL For those of you who are not aware….I love make-up! Make-up fiend here! I am especially elated about the launch of MAC Mariah Carey! I love beautiful pigmented colors that when applied, instantly makes your skin POP! Would you believe that the day Mariah’s make up collection launched it sold out?! Yes! Sold out!!! Surprised? I’m not!
