When I think of summer, I think of colorful apparel, lemonade, denim shorts and sandals. Along with the pungent smell of charcoal, sizzling burgers on the grill and bright blue skies. The warmth of summer reigns for about two months and I plan to enjoy it. My summer wardrobe if filled with bright colored classic pieces. Versatility and comfort are of the utmost importance. Solid colored dresses, tops, and skirts are in my closet, for the simple reason that they can be accented with a statement accessory.
Trending Tuesday: Chambray Shirt Dress By Eloquii
It’s Tuesday and I am back with a new Trending Tuesday pick for today. My love for denim is unlimited and thus I chose another denim piece to feature. This week’s pick is the Chambray Shirt Dress By Eloquii. Eloquii is one of the top brands that design plus size clothing. Each season I am in awe as to what the designers will create. What I love about this brand is that they always have the curvy woman in mind. This dress is no different. It is simple in design but quite versatile. Versatility is key for me (don’t judge me!)
How would Design this dress?
I am a person who usually has a bunch of errands to run on the weekends. Grabbing a quick and easy outfit is very important. Since the weather in New York is still a bit unpredictable I would pair this dress with a pair or leggings and Converse high-top sneakers. You can also use this dress as a shirt! Add a graphic white tee shirt and jeans. For the weekend “bruncher” pair this dress with a colorful belt and open toed sandals. Versatile to the max! Eloquii you have done it again!

Trending Tuesday: Destructed Skinny Jean By Fashion To Figure
I love denim. Anything denim, from pants, jackets, blouses even footwear. If there is one thing that you will find a multitude of is jeans. I have a school of jeans in different styles, colors, cuts, washes and brands. Distressed denim is trending right now; matter of fact it has been trending for quite some time. While, I adore the distressed denim look, at this stage of my life I would prefer not to have my entire plus size thigh displayed for all to see. Fashion to Figure has become one of my favorite brands when it comes to apparel. Their jeans fit me perfectly and I have purchased a total of three within the last few months (don’t judge me). My all time favorite jean is the Destructed Ankle Skinny Jean. Destructed and yet classy. Perfect for professional women (like me) in her thirties.

Hey Girl! It’s Tuesday and I am back with another great Trending Tuesday feature! Now, you know how I feel about versatility. I am trying to keep my wardrobe as tamed as possible, which means only selecting items that can be worn to work and during a casual outing. Melissa McCarthy clearly had that in mind when she created this pant. The Chevron Pull On Pant is perfect for the spring. Its lightweight fabric is breathable and flowy as well. The waistband is a great addition. Especially for me since this curvy girl is has a bit of a belly.
