Happy New Year Curvy Cuties! I hope you had a wonderful and exciting New Years! I took a few weeks off after Christmas to relax and enjoy the holidays. The Mr. and I spent New Year’s weekend in Boston at his cousins wedding. It was truly a beautiful wedding. We spent the remainder of the weekend enjoying good food, having deep conversations and discussing our goals for this year.
I started by blog last year as a creative endeavor. However, I have enjoyed sharing my thoughts and life with you. One thing that I have struggled with in my 30+ years on this earth is accountability. In order to take myself personally, professionally and creatively to the next level, I need to hold myself accountable. I need to be more strategic. With that being said…I am going to do the following…Every month I am going to post at least (5) goals that I am going to attain for the next 30 days. Yep! I said it! At least 5 goals. The following month I will post whether or not I obtained those goals. Thus holding myself accountable. So…Let’s get started. Below are my goals for this month!
January 2017 Goals
- Produce and post weekly good quality content: This is very important. I have so many ideas…. which is great! Now I need to share them. I want to post consistently this month. You should expect posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Especially Tuesdays. Tuesdays are Trending Tuesdays, which will showcase a something exciting and of course TRENDING! Lol
- Utilize Snap Chat and InstaStories: Yep! I am going to conquer my fears! I am going to start utilizing Snap Chat and Instastories! In order to increase my followers…I need to put myself out there. Snap Chat and Instastories is a great way to bring YOU into my daily life. Even without make-up. I promise to keep that to a minimum!! LOL
- Begin Planning February 2017 Content: Considering that I work 40 hours a week and even more so when tax season officially starts…pre-planning is essential to my sanity. My WordPress editorial calendar should be full with February content by January 31st!
- Pictures, pictures, pictures! I need to find time to take more professional and interesting pictures of outfits for work place and every day outfits as well.
- Increase my Followers by at least 50: Hey, I am starting off small. With my increase of pictures, content and of course video…I hope you attract more readers. Wish me luck!

Those are great goals! I also need to get my picture reserve up. I would also like to have my editorial calendar planned out as well. I need to find a program to help me plan that out. Great post!
