I am a winter baby! A winter baby who has sensitive and dry skin. My skin can become so dry and cracked; that it requires constant TLC. As a skincare enthusiast, proper skincare has been one of my goals for the new year. Every week I incorporate face masks into my skincare routine, which includes a combination of sheet, mud and peel masks. Sheet and peel off masks are my absolute favorite.

We are almost at the midpoint of 2018! It is astonishing to think about how fast the year has gone by. Apparently, I have lost sight of all the goals that I have set for myself and though I have achieved a few; it is not enough. Back to the drawing board for me. Time to refocus, hustle and create a harmonious balance of all. Tell me. How are you doing with your achievements? If you’re right on schedule…congratulations! Care to share a few pointers? If you’re like me and refocusing….we can help each other. :o)
Monday Musings: 3 of My Worst Habits to Eradicate in 2018!
Happy Monday my loves! It is a brand new day and a brand new week. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. My weekend was spent pretty much as usual, chores, writing relaxing and preparing myself mentally and physically for the week ahead. If you recall, one of my goals (awhile back) was to write various personal posts about me. Afterall, in order to truly get to know me; you would have to know ABOUT me. One thing that I had to learn is that I am not perfect. No matter what my friends may believe. I figured I would share with you some of my worst habits that I am actively trying to change.
Blog-Gress Goals! 5 Goals for the Month of April.
Happy Easter! Today is a little unorthodox being Easter and April Fools Day. Today I decided to forgo tradition and not attend church service and cook a huge an Easter feast. I needed to be still. It has been a long time since I have written a post. Work responsibilities, especially preparing for tax season has taken first priority. Curvy Intuition has always been my creative outlet. Writing is therapeutic and provides freedom. My life as a 30+ woman living, working and existing in New York is pretty structured. What I discovered during my hiatus is that I need to incorporate my therapy into my life. I need to create a work/ life balance which is something that is very difficult. Even more difficult to admit.
At the beginning of each month, my first post would normally be about goals. I want to continue this important tradition. This is my way of holding myself accountable. Some of the goals that I have set forth are attained; others are not and I accept that. However, it is important for me to know where I am going and monitor the progress of this blog. Bear with me. I have become so detached since the beginning of the year and have spent most of my day’s knee deep in tax returns and other financial obligations. I love my job and I love being an accountant, but just between us… One of my biggest dreams is to be self-employed. I have spent most of my life in a financial position furthering the goals and fattening the pockets of my employers. Only through focus, hard work, ambition, blood, sweat and ultimately tears can I finally make it a reality.
Blog-Gress Goals for October!
Happy October! I love the month of October. The leaves have officially changed and the weather is slowly getting cooler. It is the month of pumpkins, apple picking, cozy sweaters and of course Halloween! I am not really a fan of Halloween, but I must admit that I can be found perusing the aisles of Party City looking at this year’s costume selections. Guilty pleasure, what can I say? 2017 is coming to a close in the next few months and I want to end the year with a bang. It is also the month that Curvy Intuition was born. Not sure how I want to celebrate this milestone, but I am sure I will figure something out. Now, for the reason, we’re here! Time to outline my goals for this month.
