Mellow In Yellow
When I think of summer, I think of colorful apparel, lemonade, denim shorts and sandals. Along with the pungent smell of charcoal, sizzling burgers on the grill and bright blue skies. The warmth of summer reigns for about two months and I plan to enjoy it. My summer wardrobe if filled with bright colored classic pieces. Versatility and comfort are of the utmost importance. Solid colored dresses, tops, and skirts are in my closet, for the simple reason that they can be accented with a statement accessory.
Blog-Gress Goals for July!
Happy July My Lovelies! Can you believe it is July already? This year seems to be going by so fast, and before you know it Fall will be knocking on our door. FINALLY, the summer is here with the warm temperatures and the sun making its endless debut each morning. Are you enjoying your summer so far? To tell you the truth, I am slowly but surely taking part in the summer festivities. I make a point just to walk 10 or 15 minutes a day (health goals) to exercise, but more importantly, enjoy the warm weather. Making plans to visit the beach, travel, meditate, enjoy the written word (books), solo brunch dates, vacation cruise and more. And, I fully intend to bring you along for the ride.
I will admit that June was an eye-opening month for me. I didn’t achieve all of my goals that I set forth, but I made progress in other ways. Every week there are about ten blogs that I read religiously. The blogs are not only about lifestyle, but about fashion, natural hair, entrepreneurship, DIY, and travel. I studied their photos, their content, their engagement, their periscope and youtube channels, their instastories and snapchats. I took copious notes and I made a few more decisions, which I will divulge at a later date. :o) In order for my blog to grow, I need to constantly educate myself, study and evolve. Today, I will be discussing my goals for this month.
This month Blog-Gress Goals are the following:
- Continue with my Summer Skincare Routine.
- Increase Social Media Engagement
- Read two books
- Workout Three Times A Week
- TAKE MORE PHOTOS (Casual and Workwear Outfits, Flatlays)
- Pitch 2 MORE Companies
- Submit 2 guest posts
I welcome July with open arms and I am truly excited to see what it has in store. What goals do you have for this month?
How to Create An Oasis in Your Tub!
