One Friday evening after work, instead of going to the movies or shopping; I decided to do something different. I went to the park to enjoy the beautiful weather. Fall is currently in full force, but that day it was perfect; not too hot and not too cold. I spent a few hours walking around. Watching children squeal with glee on the carousel and parents keeping one eye on their child while enjoying a few minutes of peace!
I sat on a park bench overlooking the East River. I took out my iPad and I began to write. Its ironic that I chose to begin my online journey during the Fall Season. Autumn signifies preparation and evolution…much like how the leaves on trees begin to change colors and eventually shed to prepare for new ones in the Spring. Curvy Intuition is a project that I wanted to start for many years. My creative outlet. My online evolution.
I planned on spending some time outdoors and I didn’t want to carry a heavy jacket. I tucked my work wear in my duffle bag and opted for a more relaxed outfit. Comfortable denim jeggings from Torrid, a simple Maroon tee from Ashley Stewart, Modcloth blanket scarf and comfortable White K-Swiss sneakers.
I enjoyed spending time with my thoughts amongst the beauty of the outdoors. My schedule is very hectic during the week, but I find that spending time outdoors puts my mind at ease.
