At the end of 2017, I started taking my beauty & skincare regimen more seriously. I have made changes in my diets such as increasing my water intake and incorporating fruits and vegetables. I am a frequent Sephora shopper! Many of my lunch hours are spent looking at the latest foundations, eyeshadow palettes, and skincare products. Securing the free samples, trying new products that I wouldn’t ordinarily try. Sephora is known to carry only the best products in beauty and skincare. Some products with a hefty price tag. I would love to spend copious amounts of cash purchasing the latest and greatest. However, I have to stay within a budget that I have set for myself. Like most conscientious shoppers, I would prefer to purchase items on sale. When the word “sale” was introduced via my Beauty Insider email notification I was elated!
As a Beauty Insider member, I was awarded 10% off my purchases for three days. 10% doesn’t seem like an abundance, but it can go a long way with proper planning. Before shopping, it is important to purchase based on necessity and not desire. This is a mistake so many of us make, myself included. I searched my makeup inventory for items that needed to be replaced. But let’s be honest I plan on throwing in a few items that I just wanted to try. On Friday evening I walked into Sephora in Brooklyn NY, armed with my list and a budget in mind. I refused to order any of the products. I wanted to proudly walk out of Sephora with my black and white signature bag.
This is what was in my Sephora bag.
FENTY Beauty Fairy Bomb Glittering POM POM
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
FRESH Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner
There you have it. I have shared with you a glimpse of the products that I purchased during the Sephora Sale. I am proud to announce that I stayed within my budget and purchased items that were needed and some that were just for fun! What did you purchase? Do you have any suggestions for products that I should try? Let me know.
Until Next Time…..
